Private and mission-critical broadband tech training

The Australasian Critical Communications Forum (ACCF), a chapter of TCCA, and in partnership with Wray Castle, an international training organisation in the telecom industry, has announced its first regional training course on private and mission-critical broadband technologies.

The hottest topic in the land mobile radio market today is the rapidly growing use of LTE/4G/5G as the market demands the delivery of information to and from mobile, portable and in-vehicle devices in the field.

As the world embraces 4G/LTE and 5G mobile broadband technologies and a shift in culture from voice-centric to information-centric operations, the options and therefore complexity is expanding.

The training course will provide fundamental supplier-independent knowledge about LTE technology and specific features as they relate to mission-critical communications and private LTE.

The course will comprise three live sessions over three consecutive weeks, from 10 am to 2 pm AEDT on 11, 17 and 24 March 2021.

The course will benefit those wishing to become familiar with LTE technology and the services it can provide, along with an appreciation of how LTE networks can interwork with existing technologies such as TETRA, P25, DMR and analog.
